Hearing Conservation Program

Based on the results of noise level surveys your Workers' Compensation Carrier, Golden Eagle, will be taking, we will prepare a written program outlining the policy, procedures and documentation needed to comply with the Cal/OSHA Noise Standard.

If this includes implementing a Hearing Conservation Program, we are prepared to provide you with the following support:

1. Guiding you in determining the need for specialized resources such as certified industrial hygienists, audiologists, physicians, and in their selection and use.
2. Conducting noise sampling to determine which, if any, of your employees come under the OSHA Noise Standards.
3. Monitoring the results of base-line hearing tests where required.
4. Determining personal protective devices, or developing cost-effective administrative or engineering controls.
5. Developing and conducting a program of management and employee awareness and instruction to include training materials and documentation, a training outline and video taping if desired.
